sleep with the fishes!

So, recently I had my art in Splendor Device's 'Sleep with the Fishes' art show! It was my first time having my art exhibited, and it was suuuuch a wonderful show with so many HBIC ladies!
We had some amazing mermaid models posing for us, and I managed to get a couple decent sketches :)

Also, I was /in/ a piece! This is Amy Kaplan's work, she's a remarkably talented photographer

snow queen naomi vs. derpy sailor naomi

talented ladies!! also I'm there!

I have no idea what I was doing in this photo but okay

My piece! So silly, but this hawt hillbilly lady has really started to grow on me.

also, MERMAIDS! They were so lovely, and stayed posing for about 4 hours! Not an easy feat, especially while wearing a silicone mermaid tail

All in all, the whole show was super fun, and I'm soooooooooo psyched for future Splendor Device shenanigans!

Damned Kids!

Remember those designs I posted half a lifetime ago? WELL, come see those characters brought to life in this glorious animatic!

I had so much fun working with this group of talented, hilarious, fuckin rad ladies, and even though boarding a battle scene seemed daunting at first, it was sooooo fun to do

So, what are you waiting for?! Come see this beautiful tale of love, cookies, and satan! (love is hell anyways, amirite? jk)

I know, I know, 20 minutes seems like a long project to sit though. BUT I PROMISE, it flies by because it's amazingly entertaining and thoughtfully paced (so modest, I know, but whatever after all that time I spent cutting dialogue and moving shit around in adobe premiere, I THINK I'M ALLOWED SOME BRAGGING RIGHTS)

So, just consider it a pilot episode for what would/could/should be the greatest tv series ever! I'm serious! someone pick us up!! we've got some golden ideas for future episodes!
